Welcome to my Videos page.
On this page you will find my Martin Rigby Counselling video library containing links to an ever-increasing and expanding collection of home-made videos which have previously been posted across my social media accounts. These unique, original and informal recordings capture personal recollections of my personal and professional life experiences, present a range of issues that I feel passionate about and enable me to discuss the work I do as a qualified counsellor and workshop facilitator.
I have created this library because I want to share my ongoing learning with others, illustrate my personal journey and give insight into the development of my private practice.
Videos range from brief video clips lasting a few minutes to longer Facebook Live sessions lasting up to 45 minutes.
The video library consists of five main categories:
To search for a video please click on the folder link for the category you are interested in and then scroll through the links for each video. Once you have found a video you would like to watch click on the link and in most cases the video should start up automatically. In each folder the videos are listed in date order (most recent first).
If the video is one I have recorded on Periscope then you may have to download the Periscope app onto your device and sign up in order to access these.Periscope

Videos that may be of general interest to clients having therapy, members of the public, people with mental health issues or professionals who work with people experiencing a range of issues including stress, anxiety and depression.
CPD Events and Workshops
Videos giving up-to-date information about the regular events and workshops I provide at Martin Rigby Counselling.
Videos providing insight into my personal and professional life experiences. By sharing my own personal learning I hope to contribute to others’ learning, inspire and motivate, change perceptions, challenge attitudes and raise self-awareness.
Videos offering a range of helpful hints, useful ideas and self-help strategies for managing, overcoming and recovering from a variety of longterm conditions, mental health issues, difficult situations and painful emotions. Recordings are designed to help people think about what choices they have and not to replace medical advice.
