Course - Online Mindfulness Taster Sessions

Often we go through life on automatic pilot. Rarely do we stop to pay attention to what is going on around us. Mindfulness helps us to see clearly what is going on in our lives.

Taster sessions are a great introduction to the Breathworks approach to mindfulness for pain, illness, stress and wellbeing. They are also a great refresher for those people who have just got out of the habit of meditating regularly and who would like to re-establish their daily practice.

These sessions are run in a friendly group setting. You will be given an introduction to what mindfulness is, how it is practised, and guided through some short meditations. You will come away with some simple practices to help you incorporate mindfulness into your daily life.

As well as giving you an introduction to mindfulness and the Breathworks approach, this informative mindfulness taster session will also enable you to understand which of the two eight week courses are most suitable for you, either Mindfulness for Health (MfH) or Mindfulness for Stress (MfS). If you have already booked onto and paid for either of these eight week courses, the great news is that you can attend one of my taster events completely free of charge.

  • Join fellow participants from around the UK and other countries for a one-hour mindfulness taster/refresher session.
  • Receive an invitation to join Martin Rigby Mindfulness Community which is a safe, supportive, welcoming environment for anyone interested in mindfulness, meditation and personal development. Participate in free and low-cost events, network with like-minded people and gain 24 hours a day access to audio and video recordings of guided meditations, practice sessions and themed talks.

Who is the course for?

  • Anyone interested in mindfulness, meditation and deepening their personal development.
  • People who have some experience of meditation and those with no experience at all.
  • Helping professionals, carers, therapists, coaches and mindfulness teachers.
  • Anyone experiencing stress associated with work, relationships, loss and other factors outside your control, including dealing with the general complexity and pace of modern life.
  • Anyone with a longterm health condition, illness, disability or chronic pain.

My mindfulness taster sessions are great preparation for what you will experience on an eight week mindfulness course. If you book onto one of my eight week courses you will then be invited to attend one of these mindfulness taster sessions completely free of charge. I normally run these one hour sessions in the weeks prior to the eight week courses, on different days and times to make them accessible and flexible for everyone (see upcoming taster session dates and times below).

Please be aware once you have booked a place on an eight week course and then you attend a taster session and you decide that mindfulness isn’t right for you, you can cancel your course place and you will be fully refunded the cost of what you have paid for the eight week course.
